CARE GIVERS
Description of Ministry:
As a caregiver, family member or friend of someone who has a serious/ long term illness, you may feel overwhelmed and frustrated. Often it helps to talk with someone who really understands what you're going through, someone who knows just how you feel. You can meet that someone at the Care Giver's Support Group.
Members of our group share the common goal of helping their loved one live the best life possible. Members offer friendship, understanding, hope, and prayer for one another.
The group provides information about disease and related disorders; support from others who have similar challenges and frustrations; and guidance in dealing with guilt, anger, frustration and loneliness.
The Care Givers Support Group meets twice a month, the 2nd Friday of the month from 2- 3.30 p.m. and the 4th Tuesday from 2- 3.30 p.m. For more information call the Parish office at 653-8279
